Salute to Irish team. They played the game like true champions and thoroughly deserved their victory

I don't have word for man in above picture to describe his inning that he played against england.His name is Kevin O'Brien and he played like champion .He walked on pitch and england team did not know what hit them ,He blasted his way to a memorable, record breaking century of just 50 balls.It was same ground where england missed to create history by winning against India when they end up with tied at 338.But against Ireland they were on reverse side and Ireland shock them by big chase of 327 runs with help of Kevin O’Brien's Sparking hundred.

They not alone beat the English at their own game, they also broke two World records by securing the tournament's highest ever run-chase when Kevin O'Brien clocked up its fastest ever hundred in World Cup history..

Again i would like to salute to Irish Team for gr8 performance and entertainment and i believe that such matches will help to keep alive 50 overs format

Cricket World Cup 2011:India V/s England Biggest Game in World Cup 2011

Two weeks ago, 50 over cricket was supposedly on its deathbed .After average opening games ,tournament sparked to life in clash between India and England Match.It was one of the biggest game of tournament,Sachin Tendulkar scored his 47th One Day century and 5th World cup century set england runs chase of 339.

England’s steady start gave the team belief and Andrew Strauss’ superbly crafted century undermined the Indian’s confidence while the crowed became deathly silent. Andrew Strauss played captain Inning and hit century . England looked as though they were cruising to victory, but zahir Khan took vital wickets in his 2nd spell of over that thrust them firmly back into the ascendancy.

Suddenly the Indians were pumped up, as the English middle and late order collapsed. But then two sixes, one each by Graeme Swann and Tim Bresnan, both off Piyush Chawla's 49th over, the penultimate one of the innings, again changed the game.

Number 10 Ajmal Shazad on strike, the match looked to be in India's grasp, but the drama wasn't over by any means. Graeme Swann and Ajmal Shahzad recovered to put England in a position to win off the final ball. Requiring two runs to win, England scored just one to tie the game.

In an exhilarating game which saw the initiative pass back and forth between both sides, England and India produced a perfect entertainment for the 50 over game. The match witnessed most runs ever scored in an ODI, the spectacular centuries from Tendulkar and Strauss.
