Trek to Lohagad Fort

After long time i was finally able to do something i have been waiting since long time.I have been planning to go out on my new bike (Yamaha FZ) for long ride/

adventure ride. After searching for places to visit near Pune,i have decided to start bike ride passion from Lohagad fort

which is around 70km from Pune.It is very beautiful fort on way to Pune-Mumbai old highway (NH4) .you can also reach Lohagad by train,you can get down at "Malavali" Station and then takewalk toward bhaje village and then you can get road to Lohagad Fort.However roads are in very bad condition from bhaje village to lohagad fort base but if you are love trekking then you will enjoy lot.

The fort is in still good condition.Structures on fort are still in good condition.Also this place is not commercialise as Sinhagad Fort.Climb to top of fort should take around 20 min to 30 min.There are steps for most of the way.They are of stone and very big.
